Our Services


EMDR Brisbane operates from a diverse range of past experience and works with most clinical presentations. We have experience in working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures and presentations and is able to adapt accordingly.

We offer appointments to adults and children aged 8+ for support and treatment of conditions such as:
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Childhood Trauma
  • Complex Trauma
  • Self-harm behaviours
  • Depression
  • Anger management
  • Relationship issues
  • Chronic pain
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Borderline personality disorder

  • Psychotic disorders (including schizophrenia)
  • Eating disorders
  • Grief and Loss


Schedule of Fees


EMDR Brisbane is a private billing practice. Fees at the clinic are charged at a rate of $215 per 50-minute session.

Mental Health Care Plans
Individuals with a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) are eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions per calender year. At present, those individuals presenting under a MHCP will receive a rebate of $96.65 per session (i.e. out-of-pocket expense of $118.35, per session).

Eating Disorder Treatment Plans
Clients with a valid Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDTP) may be eligible for up to 40 sessions per year with a rebate of $96.65.

Health Care Card Holders
Clients with a Health Care Card (HCC) may be offered a reduced rate. Please speak with our reception if you would more information regarding these options.

EMDR Brisbane is not currently able to provide bulk-billing psychology services.


WorkCover

EMDR Brisbane is also able to provide psychological intervention for clients who are currently in receipt of WorkCover.

For those with approved psychology sessions under their WorkCover claim, there is no out-of-pocket expense for you. Our clinic is happy to liaise with WorkCover directly to ensure that you're supported during your return to work journey.


NDIS

EMDR Brisbane is also an approved provider of psychological services provided under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

If your NDIS package has supports in place for psychological intervention, there is also no out-of-pocket expense to you.

Please speak with your support coordinator or plan manager if you would like to engage with a psychologist funded under your NDIS package.

For those who wish to see someone in person, our clinic is able to offer these services out of the Bowen Hills clinic.
